It was a Don Schumacher Racing sweep in Dallas for the Nitro classes with Antron Brown taking Top Fuel and Matt Hagan taking Funny Car! Brown extended his Top Fuel points lead and Hagan jumped to 3rd in the Funny Car standings. Congratulations to both drivers and teams!
TOP FUEL
Antron Brown (DSR) was the #1 qualifier and he held it all way through to the Wally when he defeated Steve Torrence (Torrence Racing). Brown got by J.R. Todd (Kalitta) and Torrence defeated Shawn Langdon (DSR) in the Semi-finals.
FUNNY CAR
Matt Hagan (DSR) defeated the points leader and teammate Ron Capps in the Final after getting by #1 qualifier Robert Hight (John Force Racing) in their Semi. Capps defeated Del Worsham (Kalitta) in th other Semi.
PRO STOCK
Drew Skillman defeated upstart Alex Laughlin in Final of Pro Stock. Skillman defeated Shane Gray (Gray Motorsports) and Laughlin defeated Greg Anderson (KB / Summit Racing) in the Semi’s.
