We knew it was coming, the only question was when. Entering the sport with Matt Hagan and Leah Pruett as drivers, many speculated whether Tony would add another discipline to to extensive racing experiences. Testing out Matt Hagan’s funny car part way through last season was enough confirmation for many.
Ending the 2022 season with a runner-up finish for the Alcohol class, the drag racing community knew he was in for more than ownership.
2023 rolls around and Tony in his Rich Mcphillips tuned Alcohol dragster come right along with it. Making great passes at the Gator and Winternationals, everyones hard work payed off in Vegas. Four dragsters straight down the grove. With Smoke winning by approximately one inch, all four cars were within 4 inches of each other. Could not have had a better race for his first National win.
Celebrating with Hagan in the winners circle, the team is here to win and enjoy every moment of it.
