Route 66 provided some great racing and some serious upsets! Congratulations to Steve Torrence and his Capco crew on their continued success this season! Torrence won his 5th race of the year in Top Fuel, Ron Capps won his 6th race of the year and Drew Skillman took the Pro Stock Wally! We have a week off before the start of the Western Swing in Denver on 7/23/17.
TOP FUEL
Steve Torrence defeated defending Champion Antron Brown (DSR) in the Final. Torrence got by T.J. Zizzo in their Semi and Brown got by Clay Millican in the other Semi.
FUNNY CAR
Ron Capps defeated DSR teammates Tommy Johnson Jr. in the Final and Matt Hagan in the Semi. Johnson Jr. got by Tim WIlkerson in the other Semi.
PRO STOCK
Drew Skillman defeated Erica Enders in the Final. Skillman got by Bo Butner and Enders got by Jason Line.
