The racing in Texas did not disappoint, as Leah Pritchett (DSR – Papa John) won for the 3rd time this season, defending Funny Car Champion Ron Capps (DSR) got his 1st win of the season and Bo Butner (KB Racing – Butner Auto) got his 1st career Pro Stock Wally.
TOP FUEL
Leah Pritchett (DSR) defeated Steve Torrence (Torrence Racing) in the Final Round. Pritchett got by DSR teammate and defending Champion Antron Brown in their semi and Torrence got by #1 qualifier Clay Millican the other semi.
FUNNY CAR
Ron Capps (DSR) defeated Robert Hight (JFR) in the Final, after getting by DSR teammate Jack Beckman in the Semi. Hight defeated JFR teammate and #1 qualifier Courtney Force in the other Semi.
PRO STOCK
Bo Butner got his 1st career victory by getting past Jeg Coughlin in the fainl and KB teammate Greg Anderson in the Semi. Coughlin reached the Final by beating Rookie sensation Tanner Gray (Gray Motorsports).
