Well it’s 2 for 2 for EKR this season with another victory at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO (We have won all 3 of them)
Weather was a challenge during qualifying but we managed to secure the #2 spot with a soft 3.60 @ 245 on the first pass, we stepped her up a little for the second session but Daryl had to pedal it through some rough water. Sunday didn’t look so good in the morning, it rained almost an inch before 10:00 AM but the skies cleared and we went off at around noon. I stepped on it a little harder to cover for the water grains and man did she respond, a 3.43 @ 254 in the first round, our competition had issues for the semis so we breezed through that one and faced off with the Lucas Oil “Speed Sport special” in the final round. Madd Maxx once again showed us why he is the baddest dude on water by pedaling it through the chop and taking the win with a 3.69 @ 243. The “Refuse to Lose” tour is living up to it’s name so far this season and we have no plans of doing it any other way!! Our next stop is San Angelo, TX
