Antron Brown (DSR) defeated Doug Kalitta #1 qualifier (Kalitta Motorsports) in the Final round. Brown got Pat Dakin and Kalitta got by Wayne Newby in the Semi-final rounds.
FUNNY CAR
John Force (JFR) beat #1 qualifier Tommy Johnson Jr (DSR) in the Funny Car Final. Force defeated points leader Ron Capps in their Semi, which allowed Force to jump to #3 in the standings just 50 point behind Capps. Johnson Jr defeated Del Worsham (Kalitta Motorsports) in the other Semi.
PRO STOCK
Jason Line (KB / Summit Racing) defeated teammate & #1 qualifier Greg Anderson in the Final round of Pro Stock. The KB / Summit boys have been dominant this season and Line holds a 50 point advantage over Anderson in Countdown. Line defeated Vincent Nobile and Anderson defeated Alex Laughlin in the 2 Semi-final rounds.
