It was a fitting finish for Tony Schumacher and his Army team that qualified #1 and took home the Wally, as they did it the Army’s 240th birthday! John Force and Greg Anderson also took home the Epping Wally’s in Funny Car and Pro Stock. Congratulations to all the fans, drivers and teams on a great weekend in Epping.
TOP FUEL
Tony Schumacher (DSR) and #1 qualifier took down long time rival Larry Dixon (Vandergriff Motorsports) in the final round after getting by teammate Spencer Massey in the Semi. Dixon got past Brittany Force (3rd straight Semi appearance) in the other Semi.
FUNNY CAR
John Force took his PEAK Chevy all the way to the Wally by defeating #1 qualifier Tommy Johnson Jr. (DSR) in the Final. Force got by long time rival Cruz Pedregon in their Semi match-up and Johnson defeated Courtney Force in the other Semi.
PRO STOCK
Greg Anderson (KB Racing) continued his HOT season taking down Allen Johnson in the Final after getting by teammate Jason Line in the Semi. Johnson took down Erica Enders-Stevens in the other Semi.
