Top Fuel
Bryant cranks in all 4 semi-finalist cars and Shawn Langdon comes out on top at Alan Johnson’s home track. Shawn defeated Antron Brown in the Semi’s before taking down Morgan Lucas in the Final. Morgan reached the Final by taking out Spencer Massey and ending his hope of a sweep.
Funny Car
Ron Capps of DSR defeated both Courtney and John Force on his way to the Wally. Capps beat Courtney in the Semi’s and John in the Finals. John Force reached the Final by taking out #16 qualifier Alexis DeJoria who appears to be getting closer to that 1st Funny Car victory.
Pro Stock
Could have been called the “Roy Johnson Powered Pro Stock Final”! All 3 of the Johnson powered cars were in the Semi’s and that led to all Johnson Final between Vincent Nobile and Jeg Coughlin. Coughlin beat out teammate Allen Johnson in the Semi’s before falling to Vincent Nobile in the Final. Vincent Nobile< who also has Roy Johnson power under the hood, defeated Greg Anderson in the Semi’s before bring home the Wally.
