In his first oval track win since the 2020 championship in Phoenix, Chase Elliott now has a win to go with his season points lead.
14th career win for Elliott and a historic 5th of the season for Hendrick Motorsports. For the first time in history, one organization has had all four of it’s drivers win in the first 11 races of the season.
With 17 lead changes among 10 drivers, 12 cautions, and a rain delay that saw the race post-poned to Monday. Chase was more than happy to find some good late race positioning and lead the final 53 laps for the win.
This season started with multiple top 10 and 5 finishes for Chase, and just like everyone else we are ecstatic to see him in victory lane again.
