As if the long awaited first Cup Series Victory for Tyler Reddick was not enough to celebrate, RCR, Hendricks and Trackhouse gave us one of the best Top 5’s a Chevy fan will ever see.
Tyler in the No. 8 RCR car has been knocking on the door of that #1 finish all season. But in Lap 44 of 62, Reddick decided it was time to kick that door down when a final green flag pit stop put him right on the No. 9’s bumper. Finishing 3.304 seconds ahead of Elliott and the No. 9, and 21.138 ahead of No. 3 finished Kyle Larson.
#4 and #5 finishers Ross Chastain and Daniel Suarez made it a RCR, Hendricks and Trackhouse top 5. Aj Allmendinger brought Kaulig to the Party with a No. 9 finish, completing an absolutely stellar performance by Chevrolet Racing Teams.
Congrats to Tyler and the No. 8 team on an amazing first win, and I’m sure we’ll see you in Victory Lane again.
