The 1st race of the Eliminator Stage is over and a none Chase driver took home the checkered flag. One week after being knocked out of the Chase, Dale Earnhardt Jr. took home his 4th victory of the season! 2 races remain in the Eliminator Stage, so there are only 2 more chances for a Chase driver to lock in a spot for the Final at Homestead! Brad Keselowski and Kevin Harvick took the hardest hits yesterday, so you know they will racing hard in Texas! Could more drama be lurking ahead between Harvick and Kenseth? Kenseth dove hard into the corner, got loose and clipped Harvick’s rear corner sending Harvick into the wall and a 33rd place finish after extensive time was spent repairing the #4 car! Kenseth suffered minor damage and was able to pull off a 6th place finish. It is safe to say Kevin Harvick is not happy!
