Following two rain delays, and a first half of the race that seemed to be run by Toyota. Chase Elliott and the number 9 team stayed out for a late race penalty to lead the restart with 4 to go. After pushing away from runner up Kurt Busch, Elliott crosses the finish line first by a margin of 0.551 seconds.
Overcoming a long pit stop on lap 200 that dropped the 9 team to 25th, Chase secured his second win of the season and 15th cup series overall career.
Kyle Larson finishing P4 and Ross Chastain P5 brought two more Chevy’s into the mix bringing the top 10 to three drivers from each manufacturer.
Chase Elliott still sits comfortably in the #1 spot for the season standings, Ross Chastain sitting 30 points behind him.
