The first leg of the Western Swing is in the books and J.R. Todd, Robert Hight and Allen Johnson walked away with the Wally’s! Congratulations to Todd and the whole crew over at Kalitta Motorsports on the victory. Congratulations also to the entire Force Racing team, as they had Brittany ion the TF Final and both Robert Hight & John Force in the FC Final. Should say congratulations to Allen Johnson and his team on YET ANOTHER Victory in Denver! Safe to say Allen, ROy and crew have the Mountain Mastered!
TOP FUEL – J.R. Todd defeated Brittany Force in the Final after getting by Larry Dixon in tr Semi battle. Brittany Force defeated Bob Vandergriff in the other Semi.
FUNNY CAR – Robert Hight and Auto Club team take home another win, as they defeated #1 qualifier John Force in the Final. Hight defeated Tim WIlkerson (who always runs well during the Swing) in their Semi and Force got by Ron Capps in the other Semi.
PRO STOCK – What is there to say……..Allen Johnson and team did it again at the Mountain! Johnson took down teammate Jeg Coughlin in the Final of the Mopar Mile High Nationals. Nice bring home the Wally at your Sponsors event! Johnson got by Connolly in one half of the Semi and Coughlin got by #1 qualifier Jason Line of KB Racing.
