Congratulations to Del Worsham (Kalitta Racing) for his 1st victory of the season in Funny Car, Spencer Massey (DSR) in Top Fuel and Erica Enders-Stevens (Elite) in Pro Stock. Only 1 race left in the 2014 season (AUTO CLUB Nationals in Pomona) and the NHRA will be crowning the 2014 Champions. Come out and join us!
TOP FUEL
Spencer Massey defeated #1 qualifier J.R. Todd (Kalitta) in the final round after getting by Leah Pritchett (Dote) in the Semi’s. Todd was running great all weekend and defeated Billy Torrence in their Semi match-up.
FUNNY CAR
Del Worsham got his 1st Wally of the season when he defeated John Force (#2 in points) in the Final. Worsham took out points leader & #1 qualifier Matt Hagan (DSR) in their Semi Final round and Force took out teammate Robert Hight in their Semi Final.
PRO STOCK
Erica Enders-Stevens #1 qualifier took down Jeg Coughlin in the Final and Jason Line (#2 in points) in the Semi Final. Coughlin defeated Shane Gray in their Semi Final.
