CONGRATULATIONS to Courtney Force who took home the Wally and the honor of being the 100th Female to win an event in NHRA history! Going into the Semi-Final rounds of Top Fuel, Funny Car and Pro Stock, there were 3 women drivers (Brittany Force, Courtney Force and Erica Enders-Stevens) that still had a shot at the 100th marker. Brittany Force was the #1 qualifier in Top Fuel and came up just short against Spencer Massey who took home the Wally. Erica Enders-Stevens also fell just short, as she lost her Semi-Final match-up with Allen Johnson, who also took home the Topeka Wally.
TOP FUEL – Congratulations to Spencer Massey, crew and DSR for their 2nd event win in a row!
Massey defeated top qualifier Brittany Force in the Semi’s and then defeated Shawn Langdon in the Finals. Langdon defeated J.R. Todd in the other Semi.
FUNNY CAR – Courtney Force – Top Qualifier – Event Winner – 100th Female to win a NHRA Event – Congratulations!
Force defeated Tommy Johnson Jr. in the Semi’s and Cruz Pedregon in the Final. Pedregon defeated Capps in the Semi, before falling to Force.
PRO STOCK – Congratulations to Allen Johnson and crew on their victory this weekend.
Johnson defeated Enders-Stevens in the Semi and Jeg Coughlin in the Finals. Coughlin defeated top qualifier Nobile in the other Semi-Final.
