After an early brush with the wall, Bourdais and the Chip Ganassi/Cdillac team were looking at another disastrous Prototype International result.
But by the end of the 100 minute, 73 lap race, Bourdais and Renger Van Der Zande had overcome a 20 second deficit to collect their first win of the season. By a comfortable 3.761 seconds I may add.
In another Chip Ganassi car, Alex Lynn and Earl Bamber came in second. With the JDC miller motorsports duo of Tristan Vautier and Richard Westbrook coming third to complete the podium sweep for Cadillac and ECR engines.
