This weekend in Vegas at both the Penzoil 400 and the Alsco 300 had their top 10’s dominated Hendrick Motorsports and ECR engine through their racers and teams who run their engines.
For the Cup Series, Alex Bowman took his first win of the season after a late race yellow resulted in a 2 lap overtime to sprint to the finish. Bowman and teammate Kyle Larson gambled on only 2 fresh tires during their last pit which paid off with leading the restart.
All four Hendrick cars finishing top 10 with William Byron finishing 5th and Chase Elliott 9th. Powered by ECR engines, Trackhouse’s Ross Chastain finishing 3rd and RCR’s Tyler Reddick coming in 7th rounds out the 6 of top 10 Chevy group.
On the Xfinity side, the win got away from Noah Gragson and Daniel Hemric. But 8 of the top 10 spots is definitely a finish to be happy with for our various teams running ECR and Hendrick engines.
